START CUP 2017 - BEST HIGH-TECH BUSINESS plan competition: SUBMIT YOUR BUSINESS PLAN BY OCTOBER 2, 2017

The Start Cup Toscana 2017 Business Plan Competition awards prizes to support technology entrepreneurship initiatives and the creation of new high-tech business. The business plans must be submitted by 2 October 2017. This is an opportunity for each participant, graduate student, and faculty to present their plan ideas.

The 2017 Start Cup Toscana competition is organized by Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa in collaboration with ILONOVA network of Tuscan Universities in Siena, Pisa and Florence and the Sant’Anna, NormaleIMT Alti Studi Lucca and  IUSS Pavia JOTTO Office for Technology Transfer. Start Cup Tuscany, with the support of Tuscany Region authority, represents a regional phase of the Italian National Award for Innovation. This business plan competition is open to students and researchers.

Contestants of Start Cup Toscana 2017 are encouraged to describe the originality of their ideas, the analysis of the market and competition, the management plans in the fields of life sciences, ict, cleantech & energy, and diversified industrial sector. An eligible business is a 2017 one or one that has been operating for one year (established in 2016). To qualify for the funding awards the businesses must be located in Tuscany.

Finalists will be required to participate in the event to be held at Siena University on October 26. A team of independent judges will review and select the finalists. Winners of Start Cup Toscana will compete in the National Business Plan competition starting on 2 December 2017 in Naples. Applicants are required to submit their business plan by October 2, 6.00 pm at: startcuptoscana@sssup.it
