The Photonic Sensing Integrated Systems  group carries out research in optical fiber sensors and integrated photonics for sensing. The group was founded in 2002 and is involved in public and private research projects in strategic sectors including energy, transportation (automotive and railways), aerospace, biochemical and medical science.
