JOINT DEGREE PROGRAMS IN POLITICAL SCIENCE: A.Y. 2016-17 JOINT DEGREES FROM SANT’ANNA SCHOOL OF ADVANCED STUDIES AND SCUOLA NORMALE SUPERIORE

Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore strengthen (higher) education ties through joint degree programs agreement, specifically the a.y. 2016-17 agreement applies to programs in political science. New academic year cooperation agreement provides three joint degree programs; Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore partnership will also include the University of Florence.

The new partnership agreement was announced by Vincenzo Barone, rector of Scuola Normale Superiore and Pierdomenico Perata, rector of Sant’Anna School, on the occasion of the Scuola Normale Superiore inauguration ceremony for the a.y. 2016-17 held in Florence – Palazzo Strozzi.

The joint programs in Politics, Institutions and Market; International Relations and European Studies; Sociology and Social Research, are taught in Florence, at Santa Apollonia former Benedictine convent.

Once the agreement is implemented, students will obtain their degree from the University of Florence and joint degree qualifications from Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore. Highly selective Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore are able to offer admissions to 12 students, 6 to Sant’Anna School and 6 to Scuola Normale Superiore.

A few students will be selected according to Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore admission policy which reflects the full review of the applicant’s qualifications, academic achievements and merit. Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore are working collectively towards the goal of enrolling students for their academic excellence and talents.

Hall of Residence Collegio Capitini, via Corsica - Florence is available to students admitted to Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore, according to national admission tests results.
