Giacomo Delledonne, research fellow in comparative constitutional law at Sant’Anna School, was awarded the “Opera prima - Sergio P. Panunzio” 2017 prize which is awarded annually (since 2007) by the Italian Association of Constitutional Law to the candidate who is judged to have written the best original work on current hot topics in Constitutional Law. The work “L'omogeneità costituzionale negli ordinamenti composti” (Napoli, Editoriale Scientifica, 2017) presented by Giacomo Delledonne was financially supported by Sant’Anna School. Delledonne transformed his PhD thesis into this book soon after he received the Spitali Prize in 2016.

The prize “Opera prima - Sergio P. Panunzio” has been made possible through the generous support of Ms. Elisa Zannoni, the widow of Sergio Paolo Panunzio, and the Italian Association of Constitutional Law. The goal of this prestigious annual competition is to celebrate the life and scientific works of Sergio Paolo Panunzio as past president of the Italian Association of Constitutional Law by junior legal scholars (open to candidates under 35 years of age). Giacomo Delledonne, as the competition winner, will be given an opportunity to present his work at the symposium Gli organi costituzionali a settant’anni dall’entrata in vigore della Carta organized by the Constitutional Court on 19 January 2018.
