EMBEDS SEEKS A REASEARCH FELLOW IN Statistical Analysis for data science applications in Open Innovation Strategy

As part of the recuitment associated with EMbeDS, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies has opened a call for the recruitment of a research fellow, specialized in Statistical analysis for data science applications in Open Innovation Strategy.

The position involves carrying out activities within the Institute of Management, including data analysis work for the scientific enhancement of the results with particular attention to the research activities of the Department of Excellence (EMbeDS) and the Confucius Institute.

The candidate must therefore have the ability to design, implement and manage large databases as well as to use advanced techniques such as:

a) developing and applying different research models (for example, in the design of a survey sample);

b) use of data analysis techniques in the analysis of experimental and / or cross-sectional data and in the processing of panel data (for example, univariate and multivariate regression techniques and non-linear models, etc.);

c) data analysis techniques in the analysis of experimental and / or cross-sectional data and in the processing of panel data

d) knowledge the tools for qualitative and quantitative data analysis (QCA, latent class analysis and factor analysis techniques);

e) experience with programming and data management in common statistical programs (preferably Stata and / or R).

The activity is part of the planned research of the Department of Excellence (EMbeDS).
